Let the five persons be A, B, C, D, E According to the question, \begin{aligned}&=\frac{A+B+C+D+E}{5}=38\mathrm{~kg}\\ &=\mathrm{A}+\mathrm{B}+\mathrm{C}+\mathrm{D}+\mathrm{E}=190\mathrm{~kg}\ldots..(\mathrm{i})\\ &\frac{5\text{ persons }+\text{ Boat }}{6}=52\\ &5\text{ persons }+\text{ Boat }=312\mathrm{~kg}\ldots..\left(ii\right)\end{aligned} ∴ Boat’s weight = 312 – 190 = 122 kg
